    • Description: The label for your account on your device, not seen by others

  7. You'll see Looking up account and then a New Account screen

  8. Select POP3 or IMAP. These instructions show IMAP, but POP3 uses the same settings. For more information regarding selecting IMAP or POP3, please see IMAP or POP3?

  9. Enter your account information:
    • Name:  (filled in)
    • Email:  (filled in)
    • Description:  (filled in)
    • INCOMING MAIL SERVER
      • Host Name: secure.prxy.com
      • User Name: enter full email address (usually the same as Email above)
      • Password: (filled in)
    • OUTGOING MAIL SERVER

  11. Select the desired features. For IMAP we recommend Email and Notes. Selecting Notes provides a folder for your Notes app to save notes on the server and sync with your other devices. Then tap Done.

  12. You are now back at Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Find your account in the list and tap it.

  13. Next we will update to assure all email is stored on the server, matching the folders used by webmail.  Tap the top Account line, then scroll down and tap Advanced at the bottom.

  14. For each folder, tap the Mailbox and select the appropriate folder from the list under ON THE SERVER
    • Drafts Mailbox: select Drafts
    • Sent Mailbox: select Sent
    • Deleted Mailbox: select Trash
    • Archive Mailbox: select the folder where you'd like to quickly file messages using the iPhone Archive selection. You will always be able to file a message in any folder using Move.

  15. Our server deletes messages from the Trash folder after one month, so it is not neccesary to delete them with the phone also. At the bottom of the same Advanced screen, under DELETED MESSAGES tap Remove. Tap Never.

  16. Tap Advanced to return to the prior screen. The remaining default settings are appropriate for secure connections to our servers.

  17. Tap Done at the top right.

Your account is configured and ready to use!
